Research Interests
Dana Marmolejo has focused her research on the design and retrofit of power generation and low-temperature processes through exergy analysis, entropy generation minimization, and process integration.

Community Work and Service
Dana Marmolejo became a Professor of Practice in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the Fall of 2022. Prior to joining SLU, Dana was an Adjunct Professor of Physics and Engineering at Maryville University, St. Louis Community College, and St. Charles Community College and an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics Engineering at the University of Guanajuato in León, Mexico. Before beginning her Ph.D., she completed a research internship on Sustainability Metrics in Industrial Plants at the Texas A&M Department of Chemical Engineering.
