See below for a chronological list of important deadlines, plus links to required forms and applications. Note when the date falls on a weekend, the deadline date is extended to the following Monday. All dates are subject to change.

  • Feb. 1: Catalog copy edits deadline. Submit to the dean’s office at [email protected]. For questions, contact Jon Graser at [email protected].
  • Feb. 9: Departmental nominations for University Fellowships due by 5 p.m. to Graduate Education at [email protected]. Each graduate program can forward one nomination for the Diversity Fellowship and one nomination for the Presidential Fellowship. For questions, contact Jennifer Popiel, associate dean, at [email protected].
  • Feb. 15: Deadline to submit hard copies and electronic copies of:
    • Chair's evaluation letters (signed) of faculty annual activity reports
    • Individual faculty annual activity reports, including Blue end-of-term course feedback surveys for all courses
    • Midpoint reviews and third-year reviews (signed)

      Submit hard copies of these materials to the dean’s office by way of Chris Pudlowski and electronic copies to the dean's office at [email protected] and copy Dan Kozlowski, associate dean, at [email protected].
  • Feb. 15: Student Research Award applications (round 2 of 3) deadline. Faculty sponsors submit for students using a Google form to complete a brief application and attach a PDF proposal. For questions, contact Jennifer Popiel, associate dean, at [email protected]u.
  • Feb. 20: James D. Collins Outstanding Senior Award names deadline. Submit via the Outstanding Senior Awards Google Form. For questions, contact Sabrina LeBlanc at [email protected].

March

April

  • April 1: Deadline for faculty intending to apply for tenure and/or promotion to notify the department chair. (Some departments have an earlier deadline.)
  • April 15: Deadline for chairs to submit the names of faculty planning to apply in the upcoming year for tenure and/or promotion. Submit those names via the Faculty Planning to Apply in the Upcoming Year for Tenure and/or Promotion Google Form. For questions, contact Dan Kozlowski, associate dean, at [email protected].
  • April 15: Student Research Award applications (round 3 of 3) deadline. Faculty sponsors submit for students using a Google form to complete a brief application and attach a PDF proposal. For questions, contact Jennifer Popiel, associate dean, at [email protected].

May

July

  • July 15: Adjunct appointment offers for fall provided to adjunct faculty. For questions, contact Becky Ball at [email protected] or Laurie Russell, associate dean, at [email protected].
