Academic Success Program
Saint Louis University-Madrid's Academic Success Program (ASP) provides individualized support to students who are facing academic challenges.
It is critical that students who are struggling academically take proactive steps toward their own success. SLU-Madrid students in this program have an opportunity to access academic success resources under the guidance and mentoring of our dedicated staff, and in an environment that promotes personal well-being and relationship-building.
SLU-Madrid’s Academic Success Program is a student-success themed series, offered each spring semester, designed to help you develop effective strategies to maximize your academic potential. As part of a small group, you will be guided through five sessions to unlock techniques for managing time, finding motivation, and gaining confidence in your academic abilities. Throughout the series, you will have peers and a professional staff member for support and guidance. Students who successfully complete the program have the opportunity to earn University Undergraduate Core credit for Cura Personalis 2.
NOTE: To receive credit for Cura Personalis 2, students must attend ALL five sessions and satisfactorily complete a final assessment.

Who Qualifies for Academic Success Program Groups?
Academic Success Program groups are intentionally developed for first-year students seeking to improve their GPA throughout the spring semester. As this is a CP2 experience, the groups are open to any first-year student who would like to improve their academic skills while fulfilling that requirement. In some cases, your advisors or faculty mentor might encourage your participation.
