Medical students can shadow in the emergency department of SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital or SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Prior to their shift, they must do the following:

- Pass a federal criminal background check and a urine drug screen
- Provide proof of current immunizations and flu vaccine
